had to do it. anyone else actively watch wrestling?
i was obsessed as a kid and then like 12 years old hit and i forgot about it until 5 or so years ago, the last year i've been watching everything AEW does and am really enjoying it from a storytelling and acrobatic soap opera sweaty boys fighting perspective.

I don't watch but I do listen to the Post Wrestling Podcast every week for their reviews. I'll watch the PPV events when they happen though!

That's basically what I did for years, then I saw AEW starting and thought it was rad that wrestlers were going to be guiding their own promotion so I bought in. Been watching everything weekly and I enjoy the heck out of it..definitely rough spots but I'll give em the benefit of the doubt as they learn and grow into themselves.

I did when I was 7-11 hardcore with my grandfather who would take me to studio tapings in Atlanta for Georgia Championship Wrestling. We saw a tag-team tournament in New Orleans and several of the old NWA Starcade cards. Tony Atlas held me on TV doing a promo for a fight he was doing against Harley Race. I met Andre and he put his hand on my head and cupped it like he was holding a tennis ball. I watched the Owen Hart Vice documentary last night. Awful stuff. |
