I've no idea what the Alexis Marshall (Daughters) solo record is going to sound like but I am aggressively stocked on it.
The first couple tracks from the new Steve Von Till are amazing.
+3 on Thou/ERR.
And the new Strike Anywhere in a couple weeks is exactly what I need in the current political climate.

What's coming that you are looking forward to?
I just found out Anthrax is putting out a 30th Anniversary Edition of Persistence Of Time in August. I love Anthrax, Spreading The Disease came out when I was in highschool ('85 - I'm old) and I've loved them ever since, even when Joey left and John Bush started singing with them. Which I think I actually like more now than the older stuff with Joey but it's all good.
I always thought Persistence was their best album - I liked their angry stuff over the silly stuff. Their studio had just burned down, and they lost a lot of their equipment before they recorded Persistence. I also loved Sound of White Noise - holds up remarkably well today and has a few of my favorite Anthrax songs ever (This is Not an Exit, Potter's Field, Only)

I do love that record as well. Anthrax was my bridge from metal into punk as a kid. I think Charlie lives in Chicago, and if I ever ran into him I'd keel over as he was one of the reasons I started playing drums. One of the local coffee shops I live by (Starlounge / Dark Matter) does a blend for Charlie, so I'm always hoping he is in the coffee shop when I am heading that way (or did before covid) I am looking forward to the new Primitive Man quiet a bit. The split with Hell last year blew me away. I think Body Void is also recording and I am very much looking forward to that. I have a back log of new music that all came out with in a few weeks of each other I am still working my way through, so I have those to look forward to as well! And I guess other than that, I'm looking forward to Roadburn next year. This was the first year I had the opportunity to do anything like that, and I was sooooo stoked to see Vile Creature/Bismuth together. So I am really looking forward to April 2021, and praying it happens.....

Also Thou did a live version of Heathen I'm pumped on. IDK if that's been announced but I know the person mixing it and he thinks it sounds better than the original. ohhhhh, I hadn't heard about this, but yes. That I want. Those songs live crush.

Yep, I've seen Charlie out in the burbs at the Kumas in Schaumburg a couple of times, and he was at the John Carpenter show at Thalia Hall. I've never actually met him, just seen him around.

Apparently there's a Black Sabbath Vol 4 tribute coming out with Green Lung, Mike Patton, Spirit Adrift, Haunt and more... that should be pretty cool. store.merhq.com/album/volume-4-redux

Sargent House were going to release a single in late June but decided against it to prevent attention being diverted from the current protests. Which I mean, very valid decision to make. I know it was leaked for a couple hours, I haven't listened but I've heard it compared to City Song.

The fourth book on Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive is coming out in November and honestly it's all I can think about

I bought a Korg volca drum off eBay. Watching YouTube videos and anticipating making some scary drum noises. Brrrrapp

Those Volcas are pretty cool. I've got the sampler, keys, and an old drums one (I think they made a new one?). I never make anything with them really, but I like messing around

I am still trying to decide if I like the new Live Burial. I really want to because the vinyl looks ridiculously cool lol.
Anyone heard the new Undeath? Six Feet Under worship if Six Feet Under was still in their prime and better.
