Dark Crystal - Age of Resistance is excellent! A must-see for any Jim Henson/ fantasy fan. They did a great job with that, exactly what you would hope for. Have you seen Henson's Storyteller? It was good too and it's supposed to be making a comeback with Neil Gaiman on the writer's chair. |

Binged the first season of Broadchurch last night. It is basically a Dr. Who cast reunion (counted four major cast members who have been on the show including the always great David Tenant). Really well done crime procedural/drama. Doesn't go over the top. Even the red herrings aren't overkill which ruins a lot of shows like this (I am talking to you, The Killing).

I watched Hip Hop Evolution a few days ago, really enjoyed it. Lots of great interviews in there. Also I watched the first season of The Politician and enjoyed that very much. It's a drama about a high school kid who's running for class president and really quickly gets into some very dark territory. Also the new season of Pose is absolutely incredible.
Haven't watched a whole lot of movies recently but I did watch the Artemis Fowl movie on Disney+ and enjoyed it. Colin Farrell is Stupid Hot as Artemis Fowl Sr. 😍😍

It's consistently good through all 3 seasons. Another show that I like along somewhat similar lines is Happy Valley. |

Oh, if you have access to HBO Doom Patrol has been really good. Not as weird and off the wall as Legion (which was excellent) but still weird and fun.

My son (11 years old) is an actor here in Atlanta - he has auditioned various parts on Doom Patrol about half a dozen times. We have friends who have been on the show (small parts) and they all said the set is a blast and it shows on the show. |
