Hinterkaifek is so good...packs the punch of a full-length and about all I can handle because it is devastating. Giles and HANL are so fucking expensive on discogs but I am going to have to bite the bullet on some of their stuff. I have all of the Planning for Burial major releases now. He has about 50 million EPs and splits I will never get around to collecting.

HANL get repressed by Flenser pretty frequently so I reckon just wait for the next round! So worth it though. HANL has become my favourite band. I need to get some Planning for Burial on vinyl myself though. Might be my next Flenser order...

I got the first Special Interest LP 'Spiraling' a couple of weeks ago, electro-punk/no-wave/wildness. They were the last band I saw live before the pandemic, and I dunno if it's because of that fact, but a live performance hasn't stuck in my mind this much in forever.
Finally got round to tracking down a copy of that last Cloud Rat LP too, excited for that to get here. Wish they'd release the companion album on vinyl too, I've listened to that way more than the grind one.

Repress just came out today on pink vinyl I saw! I didn't think it'd be this soon tbh...
Its well worth owning Deathcon on vinyl, having the physical book is such a nice addition.

Aside from Glory! Glory! it was Logan Ledger's self titled debut. New country/americana but with a more classic sound

I don't know if I want to get the pink or shell out a little more for an earlier copy (because I am that idiot). Or both. I just recently got into the Flenser staple of artists. I immediately signed up for their membership program and then upgraded to the extreme edition when I saw I could get the Planning for Burial box set and Giles Corey repress. PFB was the first band that grabbed me. I am still exploring HANL - so many different styles and despite that, each of those styles bring out so much emotion. The new releases from Sprain and Zen Mother sound awesome too.

I had Deathcon for a long time and it took me ages to finally sit down and listen to it properly. Since then I just can't stop. Flenser have some great fucking bands. But yeah I think Unnatural World is my favourite.
Are you on the Flenser facebook group? It's pretty good, most of the artists from the label appear on there time to time and its close knit community.
I wish I got the membership too! I don't actually know if its too late to get it but yeah also keen for Sprain. Looks like Zen Mother isn't happening anymore though...

I bet you can still get a membership. I did mine 2-3 weeks ago. I even wrote back and asked to add on the extreme edition last week and they said they could accommodate me - so for $70 I am getting the Giles Corey and PFB box sets and I think to get them both on their site now on standard black would run about 85. I love the Sprain single and really dug Zen Mother - what an awful situation for Flenser to have to drop and probably eat a lot of money, but I love what they did. Immediate, definitive response. I am on the FB page - I rarely post and just sort of lurk for new release ideas.

I hadn't heard them prior to the Flenser announcement tbh And yeah Zen Mother seemed cool but yeah good move by Flenser.
They've quickly become of my favourite labels
