12 - Prince 16- Metallica Now (46) - do they have to be active? If no, Porcupine Tree. If so, Planning for Burial or Thou.

jeez, 12... I can't even remember haha. That would be 1981, end of 6th grade beginning of 7th so maybe Styx. Too Much Time On My Hands was one of the singles that year.
16 was def Metallica (this was 1985)
Now (50) ... it's hard. I don't really have a single favorite, it kind of shifts depending on my mood. I don't even like making top 5 lists because I feel like I'm leaving out so much. I'll say the thing I've been listening to most lately is the Two Minutes To Late Night covers album. I really enjoy it, it's a fun listen.

12 - Linkin Park 16 - Mastodon Now (28) - uuuuuuuuuhhhh... Elizabeth Colour Wheel? Great band. Nocebo was so underappreciated when it came out, it was probably my favorite record of last year.

Yeah they ticked all of my boxes with that record. I was lucky enough to see them on tour with Street Sects last winter and that was an absolutely incredible show

First time I saw ECW was on tour and they opened our show and I have never felt so insecure playing before. Mesmerized from opening note to end and screamed for more..also they're the kindest people in the world.

12: The Beatles. The White Album was the first album I bought - in the big clamshell CD case. It cost £28 and took me 6 months to save up. It was like buying a yacht.
16: Pink Floyd, transitioning into King Crimson. The beginning of a descent which, on a long enough timeline, brings me here.
Now (34): Now, right now. I've always liked mewithoutYou, but recently I've been listening to a LOT of mewithoutYou.

One of those bands that I've listened to constantly for twenty years and passionately love but always slips my mind on favourite lists. Brothers sister is a perfect record.
