What's coming that you are looking forward to?
I just found out Anthrax is putting out a 30th Anniversary Edition of Persistence Of Time in August. I love Anthrax, Spreading The Disease came out when I was in highschool ('85 - I'm old) and I've loved them ever since, even when Joey left and John Bush started singing with them. Which I think I actually like more now than the older stuff with Joey but it's all good.

Remix of the Whitehorse & The Body collab that Peter Hyde teased recently
Greg Puciato's solo project (both of the singles have been great so I have high hopes)
Lex Marshall's solo project (he had to take a mental health break recently so I am hoping he is well)
SUMAC has recorded new stuff that hasn't been released yet and I can't wait for that. They are doing a Sub-Pop single and I think they recorded another full length earlier this year that was slated at the time for a late-2020 release.
Uniform's new album, Shame, comes out in September, and I think they are just hitting their stride.
Thou should be putting out their collab album with Emma Ruth Rundle sometime soon and that should be great.
So many albums, so little time.

Is that Black Queen, or a separate thing?

It's his own solo project: gregpuciato.bandcamp.com/Not at all like Black Queen based on the two singles so far.

Nice, listening now.
I saw Black Queen at Cold Waves in Chicago a couple of years ago. They are good, but I just wasn't into it.

This Kenyan industrial synth grind thing I found on Jeph Jacques' twitter. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd35MhHqjhcAlso Thou did a live version of Heathen I'm pumped on. IDK if that's been announced but I know the person mixing it and he thinks it sounds better than the original.

Yeah, Black Queen isn't really my thing, either. I do enjoy some of it but I mostly wanted to support Greg when I bought their albums.

Really looking forward to the Thou/Emma Ruth Rundle record. Hearing it at Roadburn last year was outstanding. Can only imagine how it turns out on record.
I am also chomping at the bit to see the Halloween sequel. I loved the remake. Really hope it doesn't get pushed back.

Very stoked for that new Greg Puciato record. Deafbrick collab sounds sick too, that Petbrick LP that came out last year does not get enough love.

For all the times I've seen them I've never seen the song free will live and it's the song I have a tattoo from. Would kill for it

At first I thought he was mixing a live recording of them maybe from a Migration Fest but then I poked around and it seemed like they'd never done a Heathen set.

Yeah, I heard this as well and thought it was interesting. Band is called Duma. I couldn't find anything about them searching around online.

The Nyege Nyege Tapes bandcamp has a bio: I checked out some of the members older bands and there was some cool stuff but nothing as forward thinking as this track. Reminded me of beatdown deathcore from 2000s California.
