The only fiction podcast I really listen to is The HP Lovecraft Literary Podcast. They usually have someone do some readings and talk about it. They've had Patton Oswald on a couple times. They focus on weird fiction now, they've covered all the Lovecraft over the years. Last one was Robert E Howard's Queen of the Black Coast hppodcraft.com/

The only fiction podcast I've ever been able to tolerate is Knifepoint Horror. That said, I've listened to the entire archive at least 3 times now, and it's still really good. knifepointhorror.libsyn.com/

Also, Video Palace is a single season of investigative reporting-style horror fiction about a haunted fabled VHS tape. So rad and a short 10 episodes.

It's basically one author (Soren Narnia) doing readings of his stories. Until recently they were primarily first person narration, although he's done a few with multiple actors and something approaching a radio play structure more recently. The stories are for the most part stripped down, first person narrative accounts of supernatural encounters of one sort or another. They don't feel like any other horror I've read or listened to, so it's hard to describe accurately to be honest.
I'd recommend just giving one episode a shot, you'll get the vibe pretty quickly. Something like "Circles" is a good representation:

I just heard about the NoSleep Podcast today, seems promising and there's a ton of episodes. I wanted something like the old "Quiet Please!" radio show and it seems like it might fit that.

Recently I've been listening to Mabel, Unwell, a Midwestern Gothic Mystery (these are both fiction/teleplay style) and I've just started Old Gods of Appalachia (horror anthology style)
I've been meaning to check out video palace and Tanis for ages though!

I only wish there was more music involved somtimes the voice only narration gets a little dry
