So cool to see love for True Widow in here from you and Vic Creature. I've been watching them and sometimes playing shows with them here in Dallas since 2008. I love every record they've made. I have friends here in the city who have never heard of them. I'm always trying to explain what they're missing out on. Yay for True Widow love! I'll have to check out your stuff. Always glad to find more Texas bands to support. I feel like they are loved by lots of folks who love heavy music / metal adjacent things! But also feel betrayed when not everyone worships them haha. Also I find it funny that to me, all their songs have basically the same drum beat and I fucking lovee it so much. |

Yay for True Widow love! I'll have to check out your stuff. Always glad to find more Texas bands to support. I feel like they are loved by lots of folks who love heavy music / metal adjacent things! But also feel betrayed when not everyone worships them haha. Also I find it funny that to me, all their songs have basically the same drum beat and I fucking lovee it so much. It's incredible. They're so consistent, to the point that you can make a joke about them just writing the same song over and over, but it's always great. I don't think there are any songs of theirs I skip, which is pretty rare for me with rock music. |
